Witit Synsatayakul
Digital & Innovative Finance Specialist, Asian Development Bank
Witit Synsatayakul is a Digital and Innovative Finance Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). In this role, he supports ADB’s Developing Member Countries in navigating emerging financial technologies.
He has over 13 years of experience in financial sector development. Previously, he served as Deputy Director at the Bank of Thailand, where he led digital and innovative finance initiatives and regulatory work in Thailand, as well as collaborative projects with several central banks across Asia and the Pacific. He has also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
Witit has authored publications on financial technology and financial markets, including contributions to BIS, the World Economic Forum, DC Fintech Conference, and leading academic journals. He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and International Financial Economics from the University of Warwick.
