The GFTN Forum convenes Japanese and global communities to engage, connect and collaborate on technology-led innovation in financial services. It is a platform for policymakers, technologists, business leaders and investors to participate in dialogues on the future growth of financial services.
The GFTN Forum takes place from Monday 3 March – Friday 7 March 2025.
The Forum will take place in Tokyo and will be split between two venues, the Bellesalle Tokyo-Nihonbashi and the Kanda Myojin Shrine. There will also be side events taking place across Tokyo.
The dress code for the event is Business Casual.

Startup Pass: US $250 $125 (for founders of early-stage startups that have been operational for less than three years)
Government Pass: Complimentary access (subject to approval)

No it does not. 10% consumption tax will be applied when purchasing your ticket.
Different tickets have curated programmes throughout the Forum, including the Global Leaders Dialogue, Exhibition Showcase, The Founders Day and Networking Opportunities.
Yes, you may walk-in to purchase the ticket onsite via our website registration which will remain open for the duration of the event. Spaces are limited, so we would recommend securing your ticket to avoid disappointment. Tickets availability is subjected to capacity cap.
This event is in-person only but some session recordings will be released on the GFTN website post-event.

Organised by the Financial Services Agency, the Japan FinTech Week comprises a number of parallel events; workshops, seminars, and networking activities, including the GFTN Forum.
