Yoshiaki Wada

Currently Senior Manager of the NTT Data Corporation, Strategy Planning Section, Financial Segment. He is responsible for the development of business possibility using XBRL and the other recent computer technologies including so-called Big Data, Regtech and Suptech. His team had contributed for Fintech Accelerator program of the Bank of England and played important evaluation of new DWH technology for XBRL. He is also in charge of Indonesia XBRL project.
In addition to NTT DATA’s mission, he is teaching Digital Technology Management for medical Doctors in Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan.
Before joining NTT DATA, he had been the Director of the Financial Systems and Bank Examination Department of the Bank of Japan until the end of July 2010. In the BOJ, he was responsible for the operation of the bank's financial database system and leading the development of XBRL-based data collection system. Previous experience includes time with the Information System Services Department, the Secretariat of the Policy Board, and the Budget and Management Office of the BOJ.
