Tomohiko Kondo

Tomohiko Kondo joined SBI Holdings, Inc. as a new graduate in 2007, overseeing the SBI Group’s information systems. After working in the Group’s electronic payment business, he moved to SBI Liquidity Market Co., Ltd., where he served as an Executive Officer in charge of systems for the foreign exchange business. In 2019, he was appointed Executive Officer of SBI VC Trade Co., Ltd., becoming fully engaged in the crypto asset and Web3-related businesses.
Since 2023, he has served as President and CEO, leading the expansion of staking services centered on crypto asset trading. In March 2025, he spearheaded the launch of Japan’s first domestically licensed stablecoin trading service. He also concurrently holds executive positions at multiple crypto asset and Web3-related companies within the SBI Group.
