I joined the Bank of Japan in 2010 and worked in the Research and Statistics Department, the Financial System and Bank Examination Department and the London office. Since 2021, I have been at the Payment and Settlement Department, where I am involved in projects examining how emerging technologies such as blockchains and AI could be applied to future payment systems. Received a master degree of applied economics from University of Michigan and a bachelor of economics from Hitotsubashi University.
