Head of Market and Infrastructure Observatory, Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance
Pavle is Head of the Market & Infrastructure Observatory at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, University of Cambridge, where he leads research on the convergence of digital finance and digital public infrastructure. He focuses on providing critical insights and empirical analysis on how technological innovations reshape the global financial services ecosystem.
Prior to CCAF, Pavle established the first Emerging Technologies Hub at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where he developed new approaches to technology research and regulation. As a thought leader in regulatory innovation, he has shaped global discourse on critical topics, including international approaches to quantum security resilience and the application of privacy enhancing technologies in financial crime prevention.
He holds a MSc in Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics and has co-authored over 25 publications, including papers for the Harvard Data Science Review and the Alan Turing Institute.
