Johann (Joe) van der Lith holds various esteemed positions in the fintech regulatory space. He is an active participant in the Intergovernmental Fintech Working Group, also specifically contributing to the Open Finance Integration and Stablecoin subworking groups. Additionally, he serves as Deputy Chairperson of the Crypto Asset Working Group.
He is also a member of the Crypto Working Group under the Financial Services Board and contributes to the Stablecoin subworking group. Currently, Joe is completing his Doctor of Law (Fintech) while also serving as an Innovation Leader in the current cohort through a residency with the University of Cambridge.
As a regulatory attorney and certified software programmer, Joe provides expert assistance in drafting and developing fintech-related frameworks for the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
Furthermore, Joe shares his expertise through lectures on crypto assets for Master's students at a prominent university. He is also authoring a chapter in a forthcoming book, slated for publication later this year.
