Marty Gray

Marty Gray is Public Policy Lead, Asia-Pacific at Block Inc, a global financial services and technology company which includes the Square, Afterpay, Cash App and Bitkey brands. In this role, he leads regulatory strategy and government engagement across the region, navigating complex policy environments at the intersection of fintech, payments innovation and digital commerce.

Prior to Block, Marty served as Head of Public Policy and Communications for Uber Canada, other public policy roles for Uber in Australia. Marty has also worked in the New South Wales Government, including as a Policy Adviser to the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation and the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Marty holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Certificate in Urban Planning from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle.
