Fangfang Chen

Fangfang Chen is the Head of Asia Pacific at BNY. She is responsible for overseeing the execution of the company’s strategic growth agenda in Asia Pacific and growing our most significant enterprise client portfolio in the region. As part of her role, Fangfang chairs the Asia Pacific Leadership Council, and is a member of the International Management Team.

Fangfang has a wealth of financial services and consulting experience, including 12 years at State Street, where she held numerous leadership roles in the United States and Greater China. She also held management positions at Fidelity Investments and AIG, and was a consultant at US-based Strategic Decisions Group. Prior to joining BNY, Fangfang was the Chief Operating Officer and founding member of Algorand Foundation.

Fangfang holds a Master of Business Administration from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.

Fangfang is on the board of Chunhui Children’s Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing professional care to orphaned, left-behind and marginalized children in China.
