Dr. Mark Shmulevich

Dr. Mark Shmulevich is a technology innovation leader with over 15 years of experience in technology business, investments, and ecosystem development.

He currently leads Aloniq, an early-stage venture investment firm, and Zimin Institutes, a global network of research commercialization institutes. Mark is also serving as board member at SGTech and Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Innovation Centre and Advisor to Chairman, Singapore Space Technology Limited (SSTL).

He has previously served as Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at Acronis, a unicorn data protection and cybersecurity company (majority stake acquired by private equity).

He then continued his career in scaling AI software businesses before turning to deep tech investments and venture building.

Mark holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and authored dozens of patents. He was a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is certified as independent director by INSEAD.
