Martin Moloney is the deputy Secretary General of the Financial Stability Board. Prior to taking on his current role, he was the Secretary General of IOSCO and before that the Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission. He has previously held senior posts at the Central Bank of Ireland and in that capacity has been chair of the Investment Management Standing Committee of ESMA and has represented Ireland at the Board of ESMA. He also spent ten years in the Irish Department of Finance and began his career in the banking sector in the UK.
He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economic Policy and Commercial Law and professional qualifications in banking and arbitration.
