Joined Bank of Japan on 1994 mainly in charge of bank examinations. Since 2015, Director of Fintech in Financial Services Agency and produced 1st FIN/SUM. Since 2017, Joined Moneyforward as an Executive Director. In 2021, won the election to be a Member of the House of Representatives. In 2023, assumed office as Parliamentary Vice-Minister of the Cabinet Office (economic revitalization, financial services, etc.) in Kishida Cabinet and in 2024, as Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Justice in Ishiba Cabinet.
