Jun Onishi

Head for Americas, Global Innovation Team, MUFG Bank

He joined Daiwa Institute of Research in 2007 and was in charge of DX strategy and planning at Daiwa Securirties. In2013, he joined MUFG Bank, where he led digital tansformation(DX) initiatives and the creation of new businesses. His specific activities included launching the first accelerator program for a Japanese bank, organizing hackathons, promoting business process reengineering(BPR), advancing regulatory technology(RegTech), and fostering collaborations with overseas startups.
In 2020, he was assigned to Silicon Valley and served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University from 2020 to 2022. He was been in his current role since 2022.
