Shigeru Ariizumi

Shigeru Ariizumi is Vice Minister for International Affairs of the Japan Financial Services Agency. He is a member of the FSB and serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the IAIS, as well as the Vice Chair of the Board of IOSCO. While at the Ministry of Finance, he served as G7/G20 Deputies Deputy. He is currently responsible for the international work of the FSA with abundant experience on banking, securities and insurance supervision. He holds an LL.B from the University of Tokyo and an LL.M from Harvard Law School. He is a registered attorney in the State of New York.
