Toshiya has almost 40-year career as a systems engineer, business consultant as well as a banker. Before joining Hitachi, He was responsible for Internet Banking and CRM at Citibank N.A.(Japan). He has been involved in a wide range of business and technologies related to marketing, channel strategies, biometrics, artificial intelligence and blockchain. He is a former governing board member of Hyperledger hosted by the Linux Foundation and acted as a visiting lecturer at University of Kyushu and University of Tsukuba.
