Vasil Shengelia

Vasil Shengelia is a member of the Fintech and Suptech Development Department at the National Bank of Georgia, where he leads innovative initiatives that are shaping the local market. He is currently overseeing several key projects, including open banking/finance, the innovations office, the regulatory sandbox, the credit registry, and digital banks.

With over 13 years of experience in the banking sector, including more than seven years as a regulator, Vasil brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
