Passed the Japanese CPA examination in first place during studies at Meiji University. Started professional career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, focusing primarily on accounting and segregation audits for crypto asset exchanges. Joined Mercari/Mercoin in May 2021, where responsibilities included the launch of the Bitcoin trading service, obtaining a cryptocurrency exchange license, and serving as Accounting & Tax Manager, Corporate Planning Specialist and Segregated Management Specialist at Mercoin. In February 2024, transitioned to Animoca Brands Japan, managing finance, investment, corporate strategy, and validator business operations.
Additionally, currently serves as a member of the JCBA Taxation Study Group, actively contributing to initiatives aimed at reforming cryptocurrency tax regulations in Japan.
