This session will bring together players involved in blockchain-based initiatives (financial institutions, technology infrastructure providers, regulators, etc.) to discuss specific challenges in enhancing cross-border payments through the use of stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and DvP settlement with tokenized assets. We will examine issues that may arise in similar experiments globally, such as technical specifications for cross-chain interoperability and regulatory equivalence for cross-border payments.Additionally, we will review trends in integrating stablecoins into international retail payment networks and discuss regulatory and technical challenges in applying blockchain technology to retail payments.
