Gilbert Verdian

Gilbert is a seasoned technologist with deep expertise in cybersecurity and a strong foundation in business strategy and governance, he brings over 25 years of experience across government and industry. His career has spanned senior technology leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including positions at HM Treasury, 10 Downing Street, the Ministry of Justice, the Australian Department of Health, and organisations such as HSBC, EY, CSC, and Vocalink/Mastercard. In 2017 he was awarded Chief Information Security Officer of the Year while at Vocalink. Having a keen interest in transformative and disruptive technology, he's responsible for establishing the Blockchain ISO Standard TC307. He previously sat on committees in the Federal Reserve, the EU's Blockchain Observatory and PayUK's Cybersecurity board.
