Neil Parekh

Neil Parekh is the Executive Deputy Chairman at GFTN. In July 2023, Neil was selected as a Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore.

Neil served as the Partner & Head of Asia & Australia at Tikehau Capital while concurrently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Asia – listed on the Singapore Exchange. Neil spent many years in banking in Singapore, New York & London and was previously CEO, Asia for National Australia Bank.

Active in all matters related to Fintech, Neil contributes as a member of the strategic advisory committee of the Singapore Fintech Association. He is a member of the Governing Council of the Singapore Business Federation and the Singapore Institute of Directors as well as serving on the advisory committee for James Cook University, Singapore.

Neil currently serves as the Chairman of SICCI and as a member of the Investment Committee for SINDA and SNM. In the recent past Neil was recognized and admitted as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He previously served on the Governing Council of the Association of Banks in Singapore and on the boards of Nautilus Insurance and TIE Singapore.

A Singapore Citizen, Neil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in Finance and an MBA in International Business & Finance.
