Upasana Taku is the chairperson of the MobiKwik Board and the Executive Director, Co-Founder, and CFO of MobiKwik (One MobiKwik Sysytems Ltd.). Her current role is to lead the company’s evolution from a mobile wallet into a full-stack fintech platform that caters to the financial needs & aspirations of a Billion Indians.

A phenomenal closer, Ms. Taku has an unparalleled record of completing strategic deals/projects in record time and is an inspiring leader. She has always been passionate about creating an impact at the grassroots level, which brought her back to India from the US in 2008. Ms. Taku is the only woman in India to lead a fintech and payments platform of scale.

Ms. Taku's relentless efforts, visionary leadership, and commitment to financial inclusion have played a pivotal role in making MobiKwik’s IPO a reality. The company successfully listed on the BSE and NSE in December 2024.

She was among India's top 15 richest self-made women in the Kotak Wealth Hurun – Leading Wealthy Women List 2020 and 2021.
