Tsugumi Yamamoto

Koto player. Born in Kobe City. At the age of 6, under the influence of his grandmother, she began playing the koto.
Studied under Misato Nosaka under the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Domestic Training Program for Emerging Artists, and has since focused on the 25-string koto.
We hold recitals every year and present new works.
She is also always exploring the possibilities of musical instruments, such as piano, voice, trumpet, etc., and improvisational performances with artists of flowers and calligraphy.
At the 7th Recital, she received the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Newcomer Award.
