Julien Bringer

Dr. Julien Bringer is entrepreneur and expert in innovative cybersecurity, biometrics & AI, identity, privacy and web3 solutions. He is CEO of Simeon, a startup enabling people to support each other online while accessing or using digital services, in particular for seniors and families. He is also CEO of Kallistech, a niche cybersecurity consultancy company. His previous experiences include CTO of a cybersecurity biometrics startup, cofounding of a blockchain fintech startup and cofounder of blockchain-based solution for LNG; Innovation Programs lead and Research Team Manager for Security and Cryptography of IDEMIA. One of the early researchers who worked on privacy protection for biometrics in the early 2000s. Involved today in particular in building startup projects around biometrics-based identity management innovation and decentralized identity concepts. Convenor in ISO/TC 307 of the joint working group between TC 307 and SC 27 on security, privacy and identity since 2018. Actively participating in standardization since more than 12Y, in security, privacy, identity, biometrics, authentication either on ISO, CEN/ CENELEC or in other industrial groups (Common Criteria, FIDO). Convenor of the joint working group between SC27 and SC37 on security evaluation of biometrics. He is as well strongly involved within digital assets custody and security tokens stakeholders discussions, and an initial contributor of Blockchain Governance Initiative Network (BGIN).
